AYBL has been established as a non-profit organization to promote organized competitive  basketball for the youth of the Albuquerque metro area in an attempt to develop their mental and physical skills so that they may be prepared to participate for their respective middle school and high school teams.  AYBL helps develop a habit of a healthy lifestyle through participation in sports.

  Philosophy
    AYBL believes that athletic competition through organized sports is an essential part of child development, school life, and good health.  The Board Directors and coaches consider maximum effort, good sportsmanship, and the development of basic basketball skills to be more important than winning.  AYBL strives to build positive and meaningful life skills for all participants.
