Coaches Code of Conduct and Checklist

I will encourage good sportsmanship
 from my assistant coaches, parents and players at all times.

I will place the emotional and physical well being
 of my players ahead of any personal desire to win.

I will support the league and its officials
 in order to encourage a positive and enjoyable experience for all.

I will refrain from drugs, alcohol or tobacco while coaching practice and games.

I will remember that the game if for the kids not adults.

I will do my best to make basketball fun for my players.

I will ask my players to treat other players, coaches, fans, and officials
 with respect regardless of race, sex, creed or ability.

I will only allow players to play on my team who are registered and have paid
 to play in the Albuquerque Youth Basketball League.

I have read the Rules and Regulations.

I have shared the Rules and Regulations with all my parents and asked them to read them.

I made sure that all my parents have read and signed the Parent Code of Conduct.

I understand that any violations of the Coaches Code of Conduct will result in disciplinary action by the Executive Director and the AYBL Board of Directors.

We win if the kids enjoy and want to continue playing basketball into the future
